Eating Disorder Recovery

"When will you begin that long journey into yourself?" ~ Rumi

You are not your eating disorder.  It may feel all consuming at times, but it’s not who you are.  Your worth as a human being is not based on what you eat or the number on a scale.  Deep down you know this, but the eating disorder has you trapped.  This isn’t who you want to be, what you want to stand for, so why do you keep doing it?  Why can’t you “just stop”?

Eating disorders are a complex illness that have many contributing factors. They don’t come out of nowhere.  My job is to help you weave together the story of your eating disorder so we can map a path out of it.  Because each person's experience is unique, there isn't a one size fits all approach to recovery.  Let's work together to find an approach that works for you.  It's hard work, but so worth it to get to the other side.

WHO I SERVE

I work with adults and teens (16+) in all stages of the recovery process.  Whether it's your first time in recovery or your hundredth time, there's a place for you here.

I am committed to reducing stigma around eating disorders.  Men, boys, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and people in larger bodies are often misdiagnosed because of biased assumptions around what an eating disorder looks like.  But eating disorders don't discriminate; they come in all shapes and sizes.  No matter who you are or what your struggle looks like, you deserve freedom from food and body shame. You don't need to get worse to get better.

If you're curious about recovery,
I want to hear from you.
