About Me

“I believe in kindness. Also in mischief. Also in singing, especially
when singing is not necessarily prescribed.” ~Mary Oliver

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Eating Disorder Specialist living in Portland, OR.  I’ve worked as a mental health professional since 2009 and have extensive experience providing therapy and crisis services in hospitals, universities, and community mental health clinics.

Prior to moving to Portland I lived in New York City for 15 years where I pursued a career in the performing arts. Engaging in creative work remains core to who I am.  When I'm not working as a therapist you can usually find me singing, playing guitar, writing, or in rehearsals for various performance projects.

My own journey through eating disorder recovery lead me to this work, and I'm so grateful that it did.  This is more than a job for me; it’s a calling.  I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for all the therapists who so kindly and patiently held space for me during those difficult years.  Living with an eating disorder is such a devastating experience.  Please know you're not alone.  I'd love to help in any way I can.
